“States politics is the prime example of why no two cases are truly the same. State-by-state differentiation is the name of the game. Most platforms assume clean data and stable workflows. Legislative tracking is neither. My insight into data merging, cleaning, and analysis brings a strong systematic edge to a cut through the noise and best provide for client needs.
“If you investigate what is occurring in the academic realm of political science, what is being published in top journals, you will see that the future is data and strong causal identification. This means not assuming that correlation equals causation, but that what occurs across states is measurable, testable, and provides real insight into what occurs in governments. I am ready to apply these tools directly to client projects, whether that means testing nationwide policy diffusion patterns, measuring treatment effects from policy implementation across jurisdictions, predicting where an issue may emerge next at the state or local level, or gauging the public pulse around emerging issues. These are the kinds of problems where statistical analysis becomes especially valuable. I believe that to truly make a point, data combined with careful qualitative analysis and tracking must back it up.
“I believe that policy does not occur in isolation; with the correct tracking, data tools, and preparation, it is possible to anticipate potential legislation and to act in the critical space before the moment passes.”
